Dim Sum Fighter II: Special Champion Edition with Sayeh
Eating with chopsticks isn’t always easy and even wily old Chinese women find it difficult to eat jasmine rice off a plate. That’s why we invented bowls so we can just scoop clusters of carbohydrate pellets straight into our mouths. But what about dim sum? Dishes come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes that can be difficult.
Sayeh is half Persian and half Native American. She’s also a pro at the chopsticks. Or is she?
DIM SUM FIGHTER II: SPECIAL CHAMPION EDITION WITH SAYEH
ROUND ONE: DAN TAT – Egg tarts are easy. No need for chopsticks and fingers are the weapon of choice. Cleared.
ROUND TWO: SIU MAI – Pork dumplings are medium difficulty. Depending on the mass, you can either grasp or skewer them. Cleared.
ROUND THREE: CHEUNG FUN – This could be trouble since the shrimp is tucked into sheets of rice noodle that are flimsy and wet with soy sauce. Sayeh approaches the dish with determination and a tongue wag. Dim sum in mouth. Achievement unlocked! Reward: Happy smiles!
