Ice Worlds at Caltech on Friday
“Journey to the polar extremes of the planet: the Arctic and the Antarctic, lands locked in ice for most of the year. Time-lapse cameras reveal a colony of emperor penguins that transform into a single organism in Antarctica, and centuries of Arctic ice traveling.”
Sounds like a pretty cool screening to us! Ten bucks for a movie and lecture ain’t bad, and something like this should impress even the most jaded date. Get more information on Friday morning’s event at caltech.edu and skim the campus calendar while you’re at it–many events are free!
